The JUCONI Foundation develops, implements and shares effective solutions for
socially excluded children, young people and families affected by violence.

¿What JUCONI believes?
JUCONI believes that the various forms of familial violence cause profound damage
to a child’s capacity to secure his/her healthy development.
For children from marginalized families plagued by intergenerational violence, social and
scholastic success is almost impossible. Many take to street-involvement where amid exploitation,
crime, and drugs, they suffer still more damage. Without an intervention that tackles the fundamental
reason for their social exclusion family violence and its profound consequences- these children are
likely to remain trapped in the cycles of chronic poverty and abuse into adulthood.
JUCONI seeks out the population made most vulnerable by poverty and familial violence: street
involved children and their families. JUCONI believes that the highly personalized, long-term services
can heal the deep wounds of familial violence, and forever break the cycles of poverty and abuse that
otherwise trap these children and families.
Through its unique intervention, JUCONI’s program achieves permanent positive change that creates productive
families that are free of violence and street-involvement.
