Training for organizations, government and public schools programs
Through training practitioners in other programs, the JUCONI Technical Support Program
improves the quality of services provided to vulnerable children and families. JUCONI
shares its know how with the following types of interventions:
- Public schools in low-income neighborhoods in Puebla.
- Other government programs (such as Social Services or Youth Detention Centers)
designed to attend excluded children, youth and families.
- Non-government organizations that are deeply involved with the most
vulnerable children.
Training programs vary in scope and intensity. At least 6 organizations receive
personalized, long term consulting while others attend JUCONI courses on understanding
violence and responding accordingly.
Currently, JUCONI provides training to over two dozen Mexican organizations and government
programs. Additionally, JUCONI is currently sharing its methodology with organizations in
Kenya, Tanzania, and Peru.
